    Sam Altarafi

    Alongside Steven Went, Sam established Parallel Consulting, a boutique Analytics & Technology recruitment agency in 2004. Sam has always lived by the motto “blame no one, expect nothing, do something”. He knows what it takes to build a successful career in recruitment – a positive attitude, a pro-active approach to work and an expectation that the job will be difficult but very rewarding. Not only has Sam accomplished personal success multiple times throughout his career, but he also has a proven ability to make Consultants into Top Billers & record breakers.

    Steven Went

    With a successful career spanning over 25 years, Steve’s knowledge and experience of the recruitment sector is second to none. Not only has he achieved legendary status in the industry by joining the million-pound biller club but he also has a proven track record of developing outstanding sales teams in 4 different companies. Parallel has been built on his beliefs of hard-work, entrepreneurial thinking and professional values.

    Alex Newell

    Alex joined Parallel Consulting in 2013 and he has worked in the recruitment industry since 2008 predominantly in the DACH region. His focus is on permanent positions within Analytics as well as Business Intelligence and he has managed diverse teams across Europe. His current task is to further build Parallel’s presence in Europe. Alex is bi-lingual and he speaks both English and German.

    Parminder Toor

    Having worked in Contract Recruitment since 2006 working his way up the ranks from trainee consultant to Director. Par joined Parallel Consulting and established the European Contract Team that grew in excess of 200% in 2017. The team pride themselves on finding solutions to complex recruitment problems ensuring that our clients and candidates receive the highest levels of service whilst ensuring satisfaction for all parties involved. Currently managing a division focused on the collective goal of becoming the partner of choice for our clients & candidates within our core technology functions across Europe.

    Nicole Wright

    Nicole leads Parallel’s Digital Transformation & Business Change Practice, working directly with the C-Suite of the world’s most recognisable brands and disruptive start-ups. Since 2005, Nicole has been helping organisations to achieve positive technology outcomes by building close, productive and long-term relationships with her clients.

    Most of her work involves helping to organisations futureproof their business in the wake of disruption by leveraging 13 years’ of industry knowledge with the latest cutting-edge technologies and expansive network of Subject Matter Experts & Transformation Leaders.  The Digital Transformation & Business Change Practice provides an end-to-end capability, from initial scoping and analysis through to architecture, design and build, assisting on; Statement of Work, building Teams-as-a-Service, Individual Projects or across an entire Digital Transformation programme.

    Sean has worked within Data Recruitment since 1997. Sean has built his experience and reputation through his belief in recruiting as a niche specialist. At Parallel, Sean is responsible for the growth and development of our Permanent Analytics department. This division specialises in assisting a variety of Consultancies and End Clients to connect with the very best Data and Analytics professionals throughout the UK, Europe and USA.     Jack Wallace

    Having spent five successful years at Parallel Consulting’s London HQ, Jack is one of the founding fathers of Parallel USA. Specializing within Technology recruitment, Jack’s niche verticals have enabled him to forge long standing relationships with his clients and candidates. Parallel USA has been built on the principles that Jack has transferred from the UK: transparent, entrepreneurial, innovative and collaborative.

    John Bevan

    John started as a Trainee Consultant at Parallel Consulting and is now one of the "founding fathers" of Parallel USA, operating as a Vice President alongside Jack Wallace. He operates specifically in the areas of Risk Management, Data Analytics and Data Science and has helped a large percentage of the Fortune 500 expand their teams. With a proactive, resilient approach to his work, John has become an textbook example of what kinds of leaders we want working at Parallel Consulting.
