My client is one of the Big Four who are looking to grow their Big Data team. With an outstanding client portfolio you will have access to some great projects. Within their consultancy offering they have a specialist Big Data Analytics team who are there to solve complete business problems. They are looking bolster their team with more Big Data Experience as more and more business are harnessing the power of data and moving toward a data drive decision making model.
You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors. As well as the technical focus that will be required for this role, you will also have to engage with stakeholders internally and with external clients. This will allow the team to deliver the most effective projects getting the most value from your client's data.
You will have senior reporting lines and a clear, defined career route to technical director. With this being a technically focused role, unlike many roles within Big Four Consulting positions there is no revenue target, just a focus on delivering high level projects. They are a thought leader in their field and have managed to build a great, forward thinking, open and collaborative culture in their team. You will work under a well-respected, highly qualified Technical Director with international experience on both client side and within large international advisories.
The ideal Candidate will have:
*Experience of working on multiple large scale Big Data Implementations - Hadoop, Hortonworks, Teredata, NoSQL, Hive, Kafka
*Experience of working on Cloud Platform projects - Azure, AWS
*A good hands on technical background - Java, Scala, Python, C#
*The ability to work in an Agile environment
*Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Governance, ETL
*Experience of working with Data Science teams/Projects would be a distinct advantage
*Experience of solid engineering processes, techniques and best practice.
*Experience of working in a large consulting environment or within a client side matrix organisation.
