The key focus of this role is to lead cross-functional teams of high performing, talented developers and engineers to deliver a complex range of, genuinely, world class solutions for a range of household names. You'll be well versed in working with CTO, CIO, COO & CEO's to create technical strategies and you'll have significant experience of both software development and infrastructure architecture for designing and architecting enterprise web applications.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience and expert understanding of the application of Agile development methods; Agile, Lead, TDD, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration. From a technology perspective you'll be a subject matter expert on either; Java, .NET and / or Ruby with any experience of Scala, Clojure or JavaScript being advantageous.

You'll be expected to drive best practice and uphold outstanding engineering and architectural standards whilst also remaining hands on. As a passionate and enthusiastic technologist you'll be expected to code and enjoy being hands on, as well as ensuring you have up to date expertise and knowledge of current and emerging tech and products.

You'll be rewarded generously with a basic salary from £80,000 - £120,000+ (depending on your experience) an excellent, non-contributory pension, private medical insurance, a full range of flexible benefits, wellness fund, a personal development budget and 2 free days out of the business. You'll work almost exclusively on customer site providing a mix of delivery and consulting services, so you'll be flexible about travel.
