Job Description

Java Integration Developer, sought for a challenging role in this prestigious, blue chip, City-based finance house.

As the successful candidate you will join a growing, highly-skilled application integration team, operating at the heart of the business technology, working on a constantly evolving combination of new applications and legacy systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the financial services sector; it's a very interesting and exciting role at the technical core of the organisation, which will include regular liaison with senior staff, analysis and development of solutions, UAT and 3rd Line Support.

To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator with a strong technical understanding of how systems talk to one another and experience of two or more ESB integrations.

Your experience will include:

  • Enterprise Java development,
  • web services, Java Message Service (JMS),
  • Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), EJB, SQL databases.

Knowledge of Apache Camel, Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), OpenShift and microservices will also be very useful.
