MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER - LONDON - £90K - Data Science, Machine Learning, Python

Market leading consultancy are looking for a Machine Learning specialist to join their new Advanced Analytics team based in Central London. The team specialises in providing end-to-end solutions across Data Science, Big Data Development and Customer/Marketing Analytics across several industries including Retail, FMCG, Leisure & Tourism, Telecoms and Financial Services.

As a Machine Learning expert, you will provide their clients with the best advice on how to develop and implement ML models into their business to support customer centric projects, including marketing, customer journey experience, complaints and product development among others.

You will be an expert with Python and the Python Ecosystem, including Pandas, Numpy and Scikit-learn, as well as hands on with SQL and experience working in AWS, Azure or Cloud environments. Alongside that, you will be very commercially focused and can translate Advanced Analytics into business results for stakeholders. The perfect candidate will have come from a traditional marketing/customer analytics background who has moved into a Data Science focused role in the last few years.

Salary for this role is paying up to £90K + excellent benefits

This role requires:

-5 years within an analytical role/roles, including 2-3 years Machine Learning experience in a commercial environment
-Expert knowledge of Python and it's ecosystem including Pandas, Numpy and Scikit-learn
-SQL programming experience (NoSQL preferred)
-Experience working in Cloud environments - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
-Commercial experience, with the ability to translate analytics into business outputs
-Knowledge of customer analytics analysis including logistic regression, time-series, segmentation, cluster analysis,
-Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Astrophysics or similar quantitative subjects

Nice to have:

-R programming experience
-Deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, MXNet, Chainer, Theano
-Experience with distributed computing frameworks including Hadoop, Apache, Hive, Spark, Flink or similar
-GPU Programming/CUDA experience
-Visualisation experience with a recognised visualisation tool, preferably using Javascript (d3, NVD3 and others) or Python (Vega, Altair, Bokeh, Plotly) - Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire also accepted
-MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Astrophysics or similar quantitative subjects
