This role is positioned within the sales support area of the business.

Role Specification

Job Summary
Providing a broad range of administrative support to the sales administration and office support function within the group. This is a varied and interesting administrative role which provides good access to all levels of employees and directors within company and across the group of companies. This role suits someone who enjoys variety in their daily work activities, relishes administrative challenges, has great attention and pride in detail, is very outgoing, friendly and adaptive in their outlook, as well as a good communicator.

Main Responsibilities
Sales and Office Admin Support (SOAS):

Under the direction of Parallel Consulting CEO and also MD:

- Setting up desks for new starters, including start-up stationery
- Ordering furniture, stationery or anything needed for the office and logging all purchases onto the system
- Meet and greet - book meeting rooms - set up laptops/tv/projectors
- Book travel both internal and external
- Organise lunch clubs, dinners, company trips and events
- Create spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and help with tenders on an ad hoc basis
- Liaise with cleaners, handymen and the building management
- Training consultants in contract and permanent admin when necessary
- Log and order office stationery and kitchen groceries each week
- Daily tidy up, restocking and also sundry minor cleans of the office kitchens x 2 (when required between normal office cleans), water plants and general office upkeep
- Various PA duties for Company Directors across the group
- Ad hoc projects for Parallel Consulting CEO, Parallel Consulting MD and from Sales Support & Admin Officer

Skills & Experience
Existing hands on administrative skills within an office environment (a sales environment would be highly preferred)as well as:
- A real 'can do,' positive, outgoing, friendly and adaptive attitude
- Someone who thrives under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and exemplary attention to detail
- A keenness to work within a vibrant sales environment and be part of a Team
- Highest standards in office housekeeping
- Good computing skills including in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Enjoys a wide variety of roles and contact at all levels within an organisation
- Good communication skills
