I'm in partnership with a market leading, global software organisation working across the Retail, Financial Services and Media sectors. They are currently looking to recruit several Principal Software / Engineering Technologists to help deliver exceptional solutions to a range of progressive clients, helping them solve their toughest business problems. To deliver the best possible service to clients, the Principal Software / Engineering Technologist will need to demonstrate an expertise in multiple technologies (including Java, .Net, Ruby/Ruby on Rails/Scala/Clojure etc.) across software engineering, security, data interchange, data management.
This is an opportunity to work alongside CTO's/CIO's /COO's to create technical strategies and take ownership of delivery, acting as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all areas and to provide a consultative view on the issues businesses face and experience during such projects.
Significant software development and infrastructure architecture experience in designing and architecting enterprise web applications in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery is required.
As a Principal Software / Engineering Technologist, you will be given the opportunity to be at the forefront of development, leading innovative development teams in providing exceptional technical solutions and making sure technical expectations are met.
You will disrupt, lead and innovate using your strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products and apply that to the needs and challenges faced by the client.
