I'm partnering a world market leader in the Digital sector sitting at the forefront of innovation, who are looking for the best talent to push a revolutionary vision the likes the world has never seen and marginal improvements to every aspect of technology across its entire, estate, knowing that the accumulation of these individual improvements will dramatically, and rapidly, improve the experience for their customers while creating an IT roadmap that can be followed for years to come. Taking this role will mean you will be at the core of ensuring that they deliver all these fantastic products at an industry beating level of availability and performance.
You'll be required to:
*Drive best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.
*Own and manage relationships with multiple suppliers while communicating with equivalent internal teams.
*Designing and implementing a platform including automated provisioning, security, management infrastructure while having knowledge of DNS, time, Authentication, mail and directory services
*Deep understanding of Linux operating systems particularly CentOS/RedHat and Ubuntu
*Experience developing, installing and configuring with Puppet or Ansible
*Commercial experience of working on and running large web application infrastructures.
*Extensive experience working with, installing and configuring Apache, Tomcat and other common Open Source application and web servers
*Experience in AWS, Google, Cassandra, Kafka and open source applications
