Propositions Manager | FinTech | Financial Services | London

The Propositions Manager (Banking, Financial Services) is responsible for helping the bank create, develop and deliver an innovative range of new banking Propositions and Products for both Private and Corporate Banking Customers. The Propositions Manager will play an important role in enhancing and developing the Proposition Portfolio, engaging closely with range of cross-functional internal teams (from Analytics to Finance, Marketing & Delivery) to ensure customer data is used effectively to maximise product profitability and revenue streams.

This position would be ideal for someone who has experience of working within Product Management or Development (within Financial Services), Financial Services Strategy Consulting, Fintech or the Financial Product Innovation space. Financial Services experience would be highly advantageous but candidates from a heavily data driven organisation will also be considered.

As a Propositions Manager your main responsibilities will include the management and enhancement of existing products; liaising with key partners in order to support commercial and marketing plans; establishing relationships with stakeholders by collaborating with key internal functions; be supportive of product ownership and delivery across the full cycle of definition, design and development of information based propositions.

The Propositions Manager will work alongside Senior Proposition Managers on the identification of customer needs through market intelligence, market research and working with external 3rd parties. You will also hold responsibility for ensuring the proposition roadmap fits the wider strategy.

Your skills and previous experience will include driving commercial outcomes within an organisation, being able to think analytically, take ownership and call out blockers when required. Due to the nature of the role, you will also need to be courageous and have a challenging mind set as well as highly versatile. The ability to work with UX/UI experts and an understanding of customer journeys to build propositions that are delivered digitally.
