Job Description

Service Delivery Manager, financial services, sought for the line management of the Service Desk team covering the critical 07.30 to 15.30 period.
This is a terrific opportunity to develop this role and your career for this ambitious and award-winning organisation, based in one of the architectural stand-out buildings in The City.
Reporting to the Corporate Service Desk Director you will manage a team of Service Desk Analysts and ensure that agreed targets are met and appropriate qualitative standards achieved. This is an exciting and challenging role which includes the management, mentoring, development and motivation of the Service Desk Team members. In the role you will:

*Partner closely with IT Service Management, 2nd and 3rd level support teams.
*Develop and implement robust processes.
*Implement methodologies to improve first-call resolution.
*Analyse Service Desk activity.
*Train Service Desk staff.
*Deliver monthly service reviews.
*Champion ITSM practices and serve as a role model for IT process adherence and ITIL v3 knowledge.
*Ensure maximum efficiency of the troubleshooting path (probe, analyse, isolate, resolve).

As the ideal candidate you will be degree qualified and ITIL certified with solid experience of working effectively in a high pressure environment. Your technical skillset will include:

*Windows operating systems and the Microsoft suite of Desktop products
*Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office

Any experience of the following will be highly regarded: Windows 7/ MS Office 2010, Blackberry, Good Technology, Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Wyse thin client devices and VDI concepts, VMware and Virtual Centre, Messaging, Email and Mail filtering.
