Solutions Architect | Microsoft Stack | Order Management System | ECOMMERCE

A unique opportunity to join a genuinely outstanding project team as they embark on an incredibly exciting project to implement a bespoke order management system to improve the organisations customer journey and cement their place as one of the UK's best loved retailers. This position has the responsibility to operate as a partner and trusted advisor for the client by leading the system design and implementation of solutions for this retail giant.

This position has responsibility and authority for:

*Work with stakeholders including Managers/Directors to define business systems requirements for new technology implementations.
*Work with project teams to design enterprise application solutions to business problems, with deep cross functional impact, and provide design leadership to other team members
*Interface on a day to day basis with other analysts, business users, super users and IT team members to support business operations and drive change management
*Perform configuration /system changes to meet business requirements as needed
*Ensure solution design on the Microsoft platform integrates well with the integrated systems and coordinate changes accordingly with larger IT team
*Lead cross-functional meetings as part of requirements gathering, driving projects or providing status updates on various projects
*Facilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders
*Analyze impact of changes to the corporate application landscape

Qualifications, Competencies & Requirements:

*Extensive experience of guiding development teams, ideally using Agile development techniques, through full project lifecycles.
*A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects with an emphasis on back office systems in retail space.
*Must be an excellent communicator; leading a white-board discussion with customers or delivering an executive presentation.
*Strong expertise & Acquired knowledge of software development & architecture for Order Management Systems.
*Breadth of experience with Order Management Solutions and relative technologies.
*Extensive consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management, account management, and sales support experience.
*Experience with large enterprise Order Management projects.
*Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects.
*Hands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies.
*Must have prior background in managing large, multi-team engagements.
*Experience with Global Delivery Model is preferred.
*Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
*Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
